Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Roofer / Solar Roof Installer to join our installation team.

Whether you already have experience working with solar PV or are an experienced roofer looking to develop your skills in the renewable energy sector, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As part of our installation team, you’ll be responsible for preparing, repairing and installing roofing systems to support solar PV installations while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

You’ll work on a variety of residential and commercial projects alongside our experienced solar installers and electricians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair and maintain pitched and flat roofing systems.

  • Prepare roofs for solar PV installations, including mounting systems and weatherproofing.

  • Inspect roof structures to ensure they are suitable for renewable energy installations.

  • Carry out flashing, sealing and waterproofing work.

  • Work closely with our installation teams to deliver high-quality projects.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Proven roofing experience (2–3 years preferred).

  • Experience working on pitched and flat roofs.

  • A strong understanding of roofing materials and installation methods.

  • The ability to work safely at heights.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

  • A full driving licence (desirable).

Experience installing solar PV systems is an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Receptionist & Customer Support Coordinator

About the Role

Efficient Renewables is looking for an organised, professional and customer-focused Receptionist & Customer Support Coordinator to join our team.

This is a key role within the business, ensuring every customer receives an outstanding experience from their first enquiry through to project completion. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers while supporting the wider team by managing enquiries, coordinating communication and maintaining our CRM system to ensure accurate customer records and efficient follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm, welcoming and professional experience.

  • Manage reception duties, including telephone calls, emails and customer enquiries.

  • Take ownership of maintaining our CRM system, ensuring customer records are accurate, up to date and complete.

  • Track customer enquiries through the CRM, ensuring all opportunities are assigned, followed up and progressed efficiently.

  • Coordinate enquiries between the sales, technical and installation teams.

  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers, qualify enquiries and arrange appointments where appropriate.

  • Proactively follow up with customers and internal teams to ensure excellent communication throughout the customer journey.

  • Support the scheduling of appointments and diaries where required.

  • Assist with general administration and provide support to the wider team.

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer service, internal processes and CRM efficiency.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in reception, administration, customer service or a similar customer-facing role.

  • Experience using CRM software or confidence learning new systems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A professional and confident telephone manner.

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.

  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including heat pump installations, underfloor heating systems, mechanical ventilation and domestic and commercial plumbing works.

Key Responsibilities

· Installation of heat pump systems

· Installation of underfloor heating systems

· Domestic and commercial plumbing works

· Installation of mechanical ventilation and heat recovery systems (MVHR)

· Fault finding and troubleshooting

· Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards

· Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach on site

Essential Requirements

· Qualified Plumber (SOLAS, FÁS or equivalent certification)

· Minimum 3 years’ plumbing experience

· Safe Pass certification

· Manual Handling certification

· Full clean driving licence

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Strong attention to detail and workmanship

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable

· Experience with heat pumps

· Experience with underfloor heating systems

· Experience working on residential and commercial projects
