Take the next step toward a low-carbon future with our fast, straightforward grant designed to help you decarbonise your heating system. Heat pumps offer an efficient, sustainable solution for space heating, hot water, cooling—or a combination tailored to your building’s needs.

This grant supports the replacement of traditional fossil-fuel boilers with modern heat pump technology. Funding also covers necessary upgrades to your internal distribution system, including pipework and radiators, ensuring your new heat pump performs at its best.

You can choose from a variety of heat pump options, including:

  • Air-to-Water Systems

  • Refrigerant-Based Technologies

Depending on your chosen solution, you may be able to submit two separate applications—allowing you to transition in phases and spread out capital investment.

Grant Value

Eligible businesses can access funding of up to €100,000.
Your exact grant amount will depend on your building type, size, and the technical system you choose.

To qualify, applicants must be replacing an existing fossil-fuel heating system with a heat pump.

  1. Register on the SEAI Application Portal

    • Returning applicants can simply log in using their existing credentials.

  2. Select “Business Energy Upgrades” from the menu.

  3. Follow the on-screen steps.

    • No documentation upload or review is required at this stage.

  4. Click Submit to receive your automated Letter of Offer within minutes.

  5. Once received, you are free to begin works immediately.
